1 package ( 18 ounces) yellow cake mix, plus ingredients to prepere mix.
Food coloring
1 can ( 16 ounces) vanilla frosting
30 large marshmallows
24 small round candies or gum drops
1. Line standard (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups with paper liners, or spray with nonestick cooking spray. Prepare cake and bake in muffin cups according to directions.Cool in pans on wire racks 15 min. Remove cupcakes and cool completly.
2. Add food coloring to frosting, a few drops drops at a time, until desired color is reached. Frost cooled cupcakes with tinted frosting.
3. With scissors, cut each marshmallow crosswise into 4 pieces. Stretch pieces into petal shapes and place 5 pieces on each cupcake to form a flower. Place candy in center of each flower. (Makes 24 cupcakes)
